Professor Neville Norman
University of Melbourne

Professor Neville NormanNeville has delivered over 6,000 addresses to finance, industry and business groups in Australia and over 40 other countries. A graduate of Melbourne and Cambridge Universities, Neville also performs as a chairman, facilitator of hypotheticals, as a consultant, credit rater, expert witness and media commentator. He holds many positions with Government, industry and finance organisations. Neville sat on the US-based General Motors Australian Advisory Council for its entire existence (1978-2006). His forte is communicating relevant technical details in plain language.

Neville has held recent positions in Colombia, Malaysia and Cambridge England. At Melbourne Uni, Neville Norman teaches Microeconomics and Taxation and researches in econometrics.

Neville was awarded an Australian Centenary Medal in 2003 for services to his profession and as National President of the Economic Society of Australia (2004-7).

Neville Norman has provided remarkably accurate economic forecasts on every month's edition of Business Essentials since its inception.
