Brazil, Russia, India and China are foremost among the world's Big Rapidly Industrialising Countries, and their importance to Australia is growing daily. David Thomas, of Think Global Consulting, says every Australian business should be considering how it can become involved. Apart from resources exports, he see great opportunities for Australian services companies, designers, technology firms and high-end manufacturers. And he says now's the time to do some research and start planning for action - especially in China and India - before overseas competitors get under our guard.
