Emma Welsh and Tom Griffith have been friends since childhood, but their careers took them into different disciplines and different countries. Eight years ago, moving out of the corporate world, they joined forces to set up a premium fresh fruit juice business. Now they're selling into more than 3,000 retail outlets, turnover has grown rapidly and they're making a healthy profit. They say that trust, mutual respect and similar views about the business have helped turn their friendship into a thriving partnership. And, with some typical start-up hurdles and challenges behind them, they look ahead with confidence to a bigger business and a prosperous future.
