The Seven Triggers Of Persuasion

Tony Gattari, Achievers Group

Tony Gattari, Achievers Group

Human beings respond - often unknowingly - to emotional triggers which can persuade them to do things they might otherwise not contemplate. Business educator Tony Gattari of Achievers Group says there are 7 triggers we should understand: Lust, Mystique, Alarm, Prestige, Authority, Vice and Trust. They're all employed by canny marketers to work on us as consumers, and we should use them in our own businesses. Tony provides examples that we'll all be familiar for each trigger. He also warns that there's a fine line here between persuasion and manipulation, and it's all to do with motive.
